Conservatory blinds are the ideal way to finish off a conservatory in a stylish and sophisticated way. Conservatory blinds will add the final touches to an otherwise simple room, making your conservatory feel more like a natural space in your property. Adding blinds to your conservatory may also maximise the length of time you can make use of your space, as blinds will help regulate the temperature of your conservatory, keeping it cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter months. If you are considering blinds for your conservatory to help to improve your conservatory’s thermal efficiency, add both roof and side blinds, and fit a thermally rated aluminium foil backed blind to ensure it preserves as much heat as possible. Furthermore, conservatory blinds can make your conservatory a more private space, especially if it is overlooked by neighbouring houses.

Conservatory blinds are available in a number of distinctive styles to complement any conservatory. For the roof blinds, the most prevalent designs are roller, pleated, or pinoleum blinds. Roller and pleated blinds are common in UPVC or aluminium conservatories, whilst pinoleum, a type of combination wood and polyester, is usually used to accomplish a natural look in wooden conservatories. There’s a wider variety of blinds available for the sides of your conservatory, and these will come as roller, pleated, venetian, vertical, or roman blinds, depending on your preference for the aesthetics of your conservatory. Conservatory blinds may also be motorised and activated with a remote, which can save you lots of time given the amount of blinds typically fitted in a conservatory.
