Abberley is a little village in North West Worcestershire, England. It sits inside the River Severn and River Teme. It had a population of 830 in 2001.
There are three sections to the village of Abberley. The oldest side, The Village, has been around since the 12th and 13th century. There are two churches in Abberley. The oldest is the ruined St. Michael’s Church, although the chancel was restored and is still used for occassional services. St. Mary’s Church was founded between 1850 and 1852 to take over from St. Michael’s to the north of the area.
